  1. Shapvaani (The Curse): Story of a teacher and a student. Despite his teacher's curse the student becomes a successful man in his life. To the teacher's surprise the student gives the entire credit of his success to his teacher. Published in 1995 Diwali number of Marathi literary magazine Abhimanshri. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  2. Shodh (The Search): A beautiful and rich married woman undertakes search of her one-time lover. She had jilted him in her youth to marry a rich executive. At the end of her search she finds that her one-time boyfriend has made it to the top in music composing. All her ego crashes in one single stroke. Published in 1994 Diwali number of Marathi literary magazine Abhimanshri. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  3. Sholay (The Sparks): A working divorced woman is being harassed by her ex-husband. After watching a famous Hindi movie about vendetta she decides to teach a lesson to her bullying ex-husband. With the help of a gangster whom she had known in her childhood she executes her plan. Published in February 1992 issue of Marathi literary magazine Maher. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  4. Vatsapreeti (Calf Love): A psychology professor accidentally meets a young woman. She has known and secretly loved him in her childhood when he was a young boy. Now she is a mistress of a wealthy businessman. Published in 1990 Diwali number of Marathi literary magazine Buwa. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  5. Angler Fish: An executive bumps into a woman who happens to be his girlfriend in college whom he had loved passionately. She had jilted him for a carefree and adventurous guy whom finally she marries. Times change and so does her husband. The woman is under tremendous financial and psychological burden because of her slothful and work-shy husband too much. She then finds solace in her old friend’s arms. Published in March 1990 number of Marathi literary magazine Buwa. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  6. Todga (The Solution): The Prime Ministers of two neighbouring countries have a common problem. Their popularity is low and there is immediate threat to their position. They find out a bizarre solution. Published in July 1990 issue of Marathi literary magazine Menaka. English translation of this story is now available.   7. Confession: A middle aged and wealthy geography professor is seduced by one of his young students and forces him to marry her. The marriage is a disaster. Divorce is not possible. The professor's young wife starts having an affair with another young man. In addition the young woman continually humiliates the professor. The professor's wife becomes very ill. The professor takes good care of her and helps her recover fast. He hopes she would mend her ways after getting a taste of his love towards her. This does not happen. His wife continues her old habits. After one incident of humiliation the professor decides to kill her. He executes perfect murder without leaving any clue behind. He tells the story as a confession when he is on the deathbed.
  8. Garaj (The Need): A man discovers about an affair of his friend. He is eager to know the reason of affair. His friend's wife is very attractive and beautiful whereas the woman with whom his friend is having affair is quite the opposite. The friend explains. Published in July 1990 issue of Marathi literary magazine Painjan. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  9. Unto the Void: A fantasy story having a peep into post-death experience. In English and yet unpublished.
  10. Vinaashkale Vipareetbuddhi (Unwise Thinking when the End is Near): An original sci-fi story about the discovery of a new element having structure similar to that of the solar system. An experiment with the new element nearly leads to disaster or rather the destruction of the solar system. Published in May 1972 issue of Marathi literary magazine Naval. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  11. Jui: A love story of a jobless engineer and a poor girl in Calcutta selling sweets. Published in August 1971 issue of Marathi literary magazine Rajas. I have now translated this story in English.
  12. Aakarshan an Apakarshan (Force of Attraction): An original sci-fi story set in America about a scientist who develops a spacecraft on antigravity principle. This scientist loves his attractive assistant but she does not reciprocate as she is in love with another man. Together the assistant and her lover manage to throw the scientist in space never to return. . Published in 1972 Diwali number of Marathi literary magazine Naval. I have now undertaken translation of this story in English.
  13. Mana Jhaale Vairee (This Treacherous Mind): An original sci-fi story of a scientist who designs a device to read thoughts going on in other people's minds. When he comes to know about the feelings others have about him he becomes frustrated and after destroying the device and its design commits suicide. Published in January 1970 issue of Marathi literary magazine Naval. I have now translated this story in English.
  14. Haseenachi Daastan (The Story of Haseena): A story of a young girl married to a man in a distant Middle East alien country. The girl’s dreams are shattered when her husband keeps her virtually imprisoned and tortures her. She realizes that she cannot do anything to set herself free and her fate is sealed.
  15. Transit: A fantasy story in English about journey after death. This is published in Monthly Story Magazine (Editor and Publisher: David Hooper) – June 2004 issue.
