I have been awarded a patent on my invention of The Process for Making a Mirror-like Reflecting Coating on Articles by Patents Office, Govt. of India. Click here for the details. Mr Ratan Tata was the force behind my inventing the process because he constantly encouraged me to study the process after I made two show cars desired by him. I am publishing an album of eight Marathi love songs written by me. Four songs are sung by the famous singer Ravindra Sathe, a couple of songs will be sung by another famous singer Suvarna Mategaonkar and the rest by Sharad Karmarkar. Sharad Karmarkar, the talented musician has composed all the songs.
A programme on these and some more love songs penned by me is going to be shortly presented to audience in some towns in Maharashtra. The songs are composed by Sharad Karmarkar; will be sung by him and a female voice.
I chaired a session in Automotive Symposium India, a technical conference on automotive technology on 4th and 5th February 2009. The conference was organised by Global Automotive Management Council based near Detroit, USA. The session which I chaired was titled Vehicle Engineering Complementing Technology and was on 5th February 2009. The event was held at Taj President, Mumbai. I have been invited to deliver a keynote speech and presentation on the topic of innovation titled Art of Minimalism--Indian Approach, at the annual symposium and show by Engel, Austria between 26th and 29th May, 2009.
Recently I inaugurated an innovation event in Siddhant College of Engineering, Sudumbare with a presentation on innovation. Over last few months I have given talks and presentations on innovation and advanced automotive materials in Vishwakarma Institute of Management, Pune and Modern College of Engineering, Pune. I was also a judge in tech competition in Jaywantrao Sawant College of Engineering, Hadapsar Pune.
